The Cap10K race is in its 38th year and is one of the top ten 10K races in the nation and the largest 10K in the state of Texas. Held every spring, this is a tradition for every age to take part in through downtown where total attendance exceeds 25,000.
In 2013, the Statesman and Austin360 made the decision to partake this nationally known festival and hosted a two-day concert right in the middle of it. The music festival is held in our parking lot in the heart of downtown Austin, showcasing favorite local bands and well-known acts. In 2014, over 7, 500 attendees celebrated the 2nd annual event with us.

The venue, which is situated within Circuit of The Americas’ 1,500-acre sports and entertainment complex, has room for up to 14,000 guests, offers reserved seating for 6,700, and features a spacious lawn perfect for enjoying unforgettable performances under the stars with family and friends. The amphitheater also boasts the largest permanent stage in Central Texas and has hosted some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including: Jimmy Buffett, Dave Matthews Band, KISS, Nine Inch Nails, Kanye West, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Mumford & Sons, Maroon 5, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Pitbull, Train, One Republic, Drake, and Lil’ Wayne.
Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is a 3.427-mile (5.515 km) motor racing circuit in Travis County, Texas. It is the host of the Formula One United States Grand Prix. The circuit also hosts the Motorcycle Grand Prix of The Americas, a round of the Road Racing World Championship, commonly known as MotoGP, the FIA World Endurance Championship, as well as the Tudor United SportsCar Championship. It previously hosted the Australian V8 Supercars series, the American Le Mans Series, and the Rolex Sports Car Series in 2013.
