Statesman Media is pleased to announce a new partnership for downtown Austin’s newest open air music venue, the Statesman Skyline Theater at the Long Center. This partnership brings together two of Austin’s most iconic entities to provide the best live entertainment to the city’s burgeoning music scene and its fans.
Statesman Skyline Theater at the Long Center is situated in the heart of downtown Austin, overlooking Lady Bird Lake. The 7,000 capacity venue boasts picturesque views, hundreds of adjacent bars, restaurants and attractions, plus indoor and outdoor VIP areas with balcony-level views of the stage and downtown skyline. The venue will utilize existing amenities offered at the Long Center during events, including indoor restrooms and air conditioned spaces, star dressing rooms and backstage catering. Additionally, Statesman Skyline Theatre will use state-of-the-art equipment to preserve the production value and acoustic excellence that Long Center patrons have come to expect. Paragon Presents, the venue’s exclusive promoter, has added a number of impressive acts for the inaugural season, which kicks off on Friday, May 20 with country star, Justin Moore. The season continues with BOSTON’s 40th Anniversary tour with Dennis DeYoung and the Music of Styx (June 11th), Steve Miller Band (July 26), and the Goo Goo Dolls with special guests Collective Soul and Tribe Society (September 11), plus more concerts to be announced in the near future.
